Patterns & Timetables

Patterns are repeated designs and timetables are multiplying digits in order to get an answer.

The pattern in the grid shows the six timetable pattern. The number order of the pattern is 6, 3 9. This is because: 6 x 1 = 6, 6 x 2 = 12, but 1 + 2 = 3, 6 x 3 = 9, 6 x 4 = 24, but 2 + 4 = 6 and etc.

If a shape doesn't connect back to the start, it is not a pattern.

Patterns are a good way of remembering the timetables.
