Greetings

My name is Mahdi. I am from Afghanistan. I am in LS1 at Panmure Bridge School. I enjoy playing Badminton and digital games like Minecraft and Roblox.

 

Kapa Haka Performance

Today there was a Moari performance in the hall. The Kapa Haka group performed an entrance ceremony.

First the Kapa Haka group introduced what a poi is used for and how it helps with wrist movements. They also introduced their training tools and how it is used, The training tools help the Moari warriors train with their movements with the weapons.

Secondly the Kapa Haka group performed a haka and then Panmure Bridge school responded with a haka back.

Lastly each class went out to play a Maori Game. Our game was called Maui and Mato. How to play this game is get a Reiko and stand in a circle. If they Maui then you go left, if they say Mato then you go right

I liked the performance the kapa haka group did, especially the singing. I also like the game Maui and Mato.
