The Witches is a fictional book created by the author Roald Dahl. This book is about a boy and his grandma trying to get rid of witches.

The boy's grandma was a witch hunter and knows all about witches. There is one witch called the Grand High Witch she is the boss of all witches.

A note about witches, witches disguise themselves as lovely ladies but secretly they want to to squish all the wretched kids they despise. They have blue spit, are bald and have square feet. Once a year every witch meets up and shares spells.

I enjoyed reading this book and I think its a great kids book.
