Reading | Character Trait

Character traits are the character's behavior and attitude that make up that their personality. There are three main characters that can be used to make a character trait about.

The horse is a helper in the story of the highway rat. 

The horse is he is cooperative this is shown when the horse and the duck rode down the mountain together.

The horse also show consideration when he did not step on the ants. This shows he thinks about others feelings.

The facts and the adjectives showed that the horse he is a considerate, cooperative helper in the story.

Character traits are usful for understanding characters behavior, attitude and personality.

Multiplacation

Multiplacation is a faster way of adding the same numbers many times. The two, five and ten time tables are examples of multiplacation.

Two times tables are multiplying two by a number of groups. The five times tables are multiplying five by a number of groups and the ten times tables are multiplying ten by a number of groups.

The times tables are an easy way to remember basic muliplacation equation. The next times tables are three, four and six times tables.

Maori Haka | Aboriginal Haka

I learnt the diffrences and similairites between the Maori haka and the Aboriginal war cry.

I first watched a video that showed people doing the Haka and the Aboriginal war cry.

After I wrote the similairities based on what I saw on the video.

Next I wrote the diffrences.

I enjoyed this task because I learnt the diffrences and the similarities between the Maori Haka and the Aboriginal war cry. This helps me understand how each culture shares similarities and diffrences.

SSR Selfie | Natures Deadliest Creatures

For SSR selfie I read a book called Nature's Deadliest Creatures.

For this task you read the book for 15 minutes and answer questions like whats the main topic for this book and what are key pieces of the main topic.

The main topic is animals and the key pieces of the main topic how dangerous animals are. The animals are rated 1-5 on the danger scale the higher the number the deadlier the creatures, animals habitats and animals sizes.

I enjoyed reading this book because it has a lot of interesting facts.

Fact or Opinion

I completed a task based on the Highway Rat.

First I watched the movie so I could learn facts about the Highway Rat. Then I wrote facts like the horse didin't step on the ants.

After I did my opinions, an opinion is what you think of something. For example one my opinions is the horse doesn't want to hurt animals because it didin't step on the ants.

Next I searched adjectives that matched with my opinion. For example the horse didin't step on the ants because he is considerate, sympathetic ect.

This activity helped me use adjectives to describe their traits better.

Maths | Basic Facts Boxes

I completed a speed demon challenge. 

My score was 100/100. My time was 8 minutes and 39 seconds. 

I need to work on my basic fact to 20 because I could of completed it faster.

LI: to recall basic facts fluently and quickly.

Maths | Multiplacation

I completed a task based on multiplacation.

First I took a big group of an unknown amount of counters.

After I split the big group of counters into small groups of 9.

Next I counted the number of groups.

Then I used multiplication to figure out the unknown amount of counters which is 18.

Next I repeated the same thing for the other two sets of unkown numbers.

I like multiplacation it's a faster way of adding numbers.
