Hiwi the Kiwi

On Wednesday everyone went to the school hall because Hiwi the Kiwi was visiting our school.
He taught everyone how to stay safe on a boat. He said if you ever catch a salt water fish pick it up with a wet towel. You have to wet the towel with salt water. He also said that if you catch a snapper and it's smaller than 30cm you have to let the fish go. Everyone learned a lot of facts.

Zoo Trip

At the Zoo we saw lots of animals. My favorite animal was the lion because it was cool to see.

The moon is the closest object to earth. Scientists have found ice at the poles on the moon. Scientists think the ice was left over by a comet that once collided with the moon. The moon is like a desert with lots of craters, plains, and valleys. The moon orbits our planet in a oval shape. The moon has lots of holes because space objects hit the moon making these craters.Neil Armstrong was the first person to go on the moon. The moon is 4.58 billion years old. Scientists believe that the moon was formed by a big rock.
