Basic Fact Boxes

L.I To learn basic facts  

Today I played speed demon up to 20 for a challenge. It took me 10m and 57 seconds to finish this activity. I need to work faster at answering the boxes. I think this was a fun activity to do.

Kiwi Can

L.I positive communication

Today for kiwi Can we learnt about positive communication. Positive communication means communicating positively to everyone and to encourage others in a good way. Then we did an energiser the energiser it was flip the cone.We got into two groups. we each had 1 or 2 people from each team to try to flip as many cons as you can. Miss Graces team won the energiser.   

After that we played an activity called street fighter. We played in our same teams. when Miss Grace or Mr Sumanu say a number from 1 to 5 we do a action. we verst the other team in a line we each had a turn. Mr Sumanu's team won that activity.   

Ripper Rugby

L.I  To learn how to play riper rugby

This week for kiwi sport is rippa rugby. We went down to the flied near marist our coaches were Sam and Taney. We did some warm ups before we played real ripper rugby. We learnt the basics skills of rippa rugby. Like catching and passing the ball.          

SSR Selfie

LI: To summarise and retell

This week we made a SSR selfie for this blog post we have to tell information about the book. In this book Alex rider's uncle dies the police said that Alex's uncle died in a car crash but that was a lie. Because the holes in the car of Alex's uncle's car. Now he is looking for his uncle's killer.

Today we did fact find with a partner

Me and my partner we had to choose a topic and we chose the liger it is a mix of a male loin and a female tiger. It can grow up to 10 to 12 feet in length. we found out some facts about the liger. If you want find out more about the liger check our google slide.

This week I made a room with 3D shapes in it with my group.  

Descriptive writing

LI: to describe using interesting language features.

The "descriptive writing" activity is used for practising using descriptive language.

The comments function is used to describe any of the gathered photos.

The objective is to improve descriptive writing activity is to improve descriptive ability's  

Print Design Rules

Have a balance of pictures and sentences use images that relate to the text. Have margins and align text and images use most of the space.

 Don't use clashing colours use a harmonic colour scheme and use contrasting background and foreground colours.

 keep consistent fonts and sizes, make sure the text is legible.

M=8 A=1 H=7 D=6 I=3. 8+1+7+6+3=25. I have to have a single digit number so I
add 2+5 which equals: 7. My name is worth 7. 

Family Background

Self Portrait

LI: To make a digital self portrait of ourselves.

Today we had to finish our self portrait. We had to pick between Mrs. Anderson's style or Mr. Wong's style. I chose Mrs Anderson's style. We had to start drawing from the furthest back to the closest to you, so that things don't overlap each other or so that the shapes go in the right place. I had finished my self portrait and I think I could maybe do better next time.

Positive Relationships

L.I To make positive relationships

We learned about positive relationships.

We played switch places for the energizer.

We played pizza tag to encourage fairness and fair play.

We talked about fairness and fair play.

I was happy that every one was in the game and playing fairly.       

Maritime Museum

L.I to study the history of NZ maritime explorers

We went to the maritime museum to learn about maritime explorers.
 We saw lots of boats from wake's to kayaks.
 I found out that sir Peter Blake was the best New Zealand sailor.
 I watched a movie about the first explores coming to Aotearoa.
I enjoyed learning things that I never knew before.

Crazy Cricket Chaos

L.I To develop fundamental movements in cricket

we did our first session of cricket with Brian from HPCC.

I did a sesson on throwing at a set of stumps.

We also did an activate were we had to hit two balls off the cone as far as we could.

lastly we did a catching drill with two balls in a big circle.

I was so tired at the end from all the running.

I need to work on my aim.

Passwords

L.I Making secure passwords

Today we learning a to make a secure password. First we looked at the meaning of a password. A password is a code that protectors your account and your information. From hackers and people who try try to get your private information.
