Today we had to make a poster about what is a U.R.L and how to read a U.R.L. 

Swimming

Today was our last swimming lesson. We had to wear life jackets and the people that swam in the big pool dad to go to the deep part of the pool. We learnt new things like making a chain, a huddle and we had to touch the bottom. For the chain we had to lay back words and hold on to each other. And to make a huddle we had to make a circle and the people who were injured had to go inside the circle. Touching the bottom of the pool was hard because the life jackets were keeping us floating.

5-7-10 The Glass House

Once there lived a man who ran a shop. That was made out of glass. But no one would come to his shop. He said to himself, why are people not coming to my shop?

After a while the man gave up. Then a few days later he got an idea. I'm going to build a shop but this time I am going to add glass and light. After he finished heaps of people came to visit his new shop. The man was happy again and he got more money than he had before.

Read Theory September

Today we did another read Theory blog post. At the beginning of the year I was at grade 1. Now I am on grade 4. I want to get back to grade 5 so I will work harder.

                          Today we played maths monster. We had to start with our 3x tables I got up to my 9x tables. Before we stoped.

5-7-10 The surprised mouse

A long time ago there lived a mouse. Every day he would come out of his home and take a peek outside. To make sure the coast was clear. Once he took a peek he was so surprised of what was in front of him. He couldn't move and he couldn't speak because he was so stunned.  

Then the thing that was in front of him ran away. Then he waited and waited for a long time. He saw a mouse. The mouse came and helped him. Then the other mouse could move and speak again. He thanked the mouse for helping him.

In what communication

would I notice it

would I be clever enough to figure it out

maybe there aren’t many

it could be that there’s only one book 

and it was all we need

Duffy Role Model

Today we had a Duffy assembly we had a special guest, and his name was Jamie Wall. He talked about his job, he gets to go to big games and can travel to many countries. He wrote a book its called Brothers in Black. I like my book because I really like Ant-man, and I really like Hot wheels.

The Auckland Zoo

Last term me and my class went to the Auckland zoo we met lots of animals.

Zepts and Zios

Today day we did a maths problem it was about two sorts of creatures one of them was a zio and the at and the other was a zept a zio has three legs and a zept has seven legs. we had to get fiftytwo legs

first we tried with two zios but it did, int work. we tried again and again until we got the answer.

the answer was twentyfour zio and twenty eight.        

Visual Language-Tiger

This is our first visual language and it's about the book all about tiger. Tiger is a drawing not real.  learnt new words like modality.
