I or Me?

Today we learnt the rules of I or me and had to fill the right word in the gap.

Space Art

This is my space art. First we used the sketching pencils to draw and shade the craters. Then we dyed the planets hot and cold colours. Then we flicked white paint onto the black paper to make it look like stars. Finally we glued it all together.

Matariki Celebration

On Friday we went to the hall because we were celebrating Matariki. When we got there we saw the junior Kapa Haka. Junior kapa haka started to preform. After they finished, pacifica performed. The ukulele group was next they played the ukulele and sang shot gun. Finally the senior kapa haka started to preform they sang songs like the junior kapa haka.

Zoo Recount

Zoo recount

I couldn't wait to go to the zoo because I barely go to the zoo.

We went to the zoo because Warehouse was sponsoring us. And Richies bus gave us a free ride.

First we went to see the red pandas when we looked through the glass it wasn't there but when we looked up at the tree we saw both of the red pandas. They were sleeping in the tree. So we moved on to see more animals. We saw the tasmanian’s devils enclosure but the tasmanian devil was hiding from us so we went to see the wallabies and the emus. The emus legs were long and skinny like a flamingo and the wallabies were like kangaroo but shorter.       

Then we had our Session with Hohepa first we saw the baboons. And then we saw two cheetahs both of the cheetahs were sleeping then one of the cheetahs woke up. And was scared because Hoe hepa was holding up cheetah skin. Then we looked at some more animals with Hoe hepa. After we said bye because our Session with Hoe hepa was finished. Next we looked at the lion. The lion was eating meat. Then we went to see the rhino. The rhino was walking around. Then we saw the zebra and the giraffe. Then we looked at some other animals. 

Finally Mrs kirkpatchrick said we could go to the kids zone. When we arrived at the kids zone we played with the other classes. My favorite part of the trip was building the cave and climbing the fake dragon. 

Even though we were doing something different we went to the zoo because Warehouse sponsored us. And Richies bus gave us a free ride.

At the end I felt happy and tired.

Read Theory - July

Today we had to take a screen shot of our grade. We do this every time at the end of the term.

Last term my grade was one now it is five. I have improved from last time.     

Trial and Error

Today for maths we had to solve a math problem using trial and error. We had to guess a number 

until we got it correct.
