Food Preservation T-chart

Food containers are used to store food but have different requirements.

Stainless Steel Gastronorm Pans.
The stainless steel gastronorm pans is a stainless steel container. The pros are they can be used in buffet restaurants it also has a lip to store it in an oven they are suitable for ovens use, freezer use, suitable for serving hot foods, their hygienic and durable the cons are that they are to deep for for fridge storage.

Mason jars.
Mason jars are a glass container. The pros are they can keep food at room temperature, they are air tight, easy to sterilize, suitable for small places the cons of the mason jar are they are fragile, not suitable for fridge use and it's not able to store a lot of food.

Plastic pans.
This plastic pan is tall square container. The pros are they can withstand heat ranging from a hundred degrees they are really durable, suitable for fridge use and dish washing safe the cons are they are not their suitable for oven use or microwave use.

These three containers are best for three different things. For example the Mason jars are the best for keeping things at room temperature, the Plastic pans are the best for storing leftovers in the fridge because they have lids and there stackable and the steel pans are the best for storing food in buffet restaurants because it keeps the food warm and it's able to store a lot of food.
